Volunteering and being involved in the community has always been important to me.
Long before I was elected, and throughout my time on Council, I’ve volunteered with service clubs, community organizations, and events. It’s something my whole family believes in. 

Public service does not begin and end at the Council table. Serving on Council is a paid position, but volunteering is different. It gives me an opportunity to connect with people, and understand what’s happening in our community on a different level. And it is fulfilling to pitch in when something needs to be done.
